How is it calculated?

Each letter grade maps to grade points on the standard 4.0 scale (A = 4.0, B = 3.0, …). We multiply each course's points by its credit hours to get quality points, sum them, and divide by total credits: GPA = Σ(points × credits) ÷ Σ(credits).
